Difference is Technocrat is doing this from the DC, which has no local users and groups and automagically adds to the domain. JP probably did this from a member server, in which case the /domain switch is required to make the user a domain user, not local. Worth noting that both of you are right. It only adds the users to the user account database ON THE SERVER. I ran the batch file with 3 user accounts. It added them successfully. Then I looked in the Active Directory, they're not there. I ran the batch file with 3 user accounts. It added them successfully. Then I looked in the Active Directory, they’re not there.
