		<description>Worth noting that both of you are right. Difference is Technocrat is doing this from the DC, which has no local users and groups and automagically adds to the domain. JP probably did this from a member server, in which case the /domain switch is required to make the user a domain user, not local.</description>

		<description>This batch file does NOT add user accounts to the Active Directory.  It only adds the users to the user account database ON THE SERVER.

I ran the batch file with 3 user accounts.  It added them successfully.  Then I looked in the Active Directory, they&#039;re not there.

So, the title of this post is misleading.

If the author of the batch file sez they do show up in the Active Directory, please enlighten me.
